FAQ

Do I have to be in good shape to join the team?

No, we have paddlers at all fitness levels.  It's a full body workout so you will get in shape just by coming to practice on a regular basis.

Do I have to be a breast cancer survivor?

Only to race in a Breast Cancer Divsion.  Feel free to bring friends and family, we have teams for everyone.

Why is it called paddling and not rowing?

Rowing is the sport of racing boats using oars affixed to the boat and athletes face backwards.   In dragonboating we use paddles that are not connected to the boat and the paddlers face forward.
